To the North lies extensive reef and islands including the Murion, Peak and Long Islands. Lying to the West of the Cape is Ningaloo Reef with its close proximity to the continental shelf. These areas boast an extensive array of bottom fishing and jigging opportunities.Exmouth enjoys exceptional year round reef and bottom fishing in the amazing grounds surrounding the North West Cape.

Species regularly caught include: red emperor, ruby and goldband snapper, coral trout, spangled emperor, rankin cod and much much more.....

If you would like to try another option other than bait fishing, our guide is happy to offer you some great jigging alternatives. Jig soft plastics in 20m of water for coral trout or spangled emperor, or try drifting the deep water and dropping knife jigs for amberjack, pearl perch or extra large cod.
